Aimee  - Coach

I am a mother of 4 children, Jaeda, Lyric, Mya, and Marlee.  I was born and raised in Whitianga and I’ve always had a passion for sports and fitness.

After my last child, I was determined to get back into shape and I instantly took a liking to Rachel’s classes as they combined resistance training, gymnastics, and cardio.

I began to see the results that I had dreamed of achieving, not only in my body transformation but also in my sports, netball, touch, and kickboxing.

Coaching for me is so rewarding, and it is the BEST feeling when I see my Whiti Cross WOD family smashing out their goals and achievements.

Linda- Coach

Ive been a qualified personal trainer for over five years and joined Whiti Cross two years ago - one of the best decisions I've ever made. What I love most is the variety in training, how it pushes me not just physically but mentally as well and that's something I love helping members experience for themselves. The community we're building here at the gym is something special that I haven't found anywhere else.

I bring a calm, encouraging approach to coaching and the most rewarding part is I get to watch people surprise themselves with what they are capable of.

Ive got a soft spot for double unders and toes to bar, so when they pop up in a workout I'm a happy girl.

Caz - Coach

Hi, I’m Caz.
I’m a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutritionist, and will be studying Clinical Nutrition this year. As well as working as a coach at Whiti Cross, I run my own nutrition business while supporting the gym’s 6-week challenges in nutrition. I started my journey at Whiti Cross as a total beginner, with no sporting or fitness background, and built everything I have from the ground up while raising two girls, now aged 6 and 9.
Fitness and nutrition have completely transformed both my body and mental health, and that experience is what drives my coaching. I know firsthand what it feels like to start from zero, which is why I’m especially passionate about empowering people who feel intimidated, stuck, or unsure where to begin.
I have coached the adult classes for 3 years, but before that I worked as a kids’ coach and supported the 6-week challenge behind the scenes, giving me a strong foundation in both coaching and client support. I love what we do at Whiti Cross for the confidence, resilience, and sense of accomplishment it builds and my goal is to help others feel that same belief in themselves through training and nutrition.

Mike - Coach

I have been doing CrossFit since 2014. I found CrossFit when looking to be fit and able to enjoy my weekend activities. It is something that has been incredibly challenging and rewarding, and to be able to be part of other peoples journeys is something I am very grateful for. I love this training space where ego is left at the door, you can come in on your best or worst day and are met with smiles and care.

My favourite movement is: Snatch. A very simple looking but complex movement and great tot watch.

Least favourite movement: Sumo deadlift high pull. Just plain yuck!

If I could program any workout: It would be short and fast. Barbell cycling and gymnastics. Uncomfortable - but rewards effort and mental toughness.

Zöe - Coach

My name is Zoe, and I grew up in Whitianga, where sport and exercise have always been a central part of my life.

Two years ago, I joined the Whiti Cross Crew while participating in one of their challenges—an experience that proved to be truly life-changing. Shortly after, I made the decision to leave my previous job and pursue my qualification in Personal Training, a step that set the foundation for my career in the fitness industry.

Since first stepping through the doors at Whiti Cross WOD, my passion for CrossFit has only continued to grow, both as an athlete and as a coach. I find great fulfillment in supporting others through their fitness journeys and contributing to their progress, confidence, and overall wellbeing. Being part of that growth is incredibly rewarding and further drives my commitment to coaching.

Grace - Coach & Six Week Challenge Coordinator

Hi my name is Grace, I grew up in Whitianga. My partner and I are now raising our beautiful daughter Ellie (1) here too.

After having my daughter I needed to get my health and fitness journey underway and joined the 6 Week Challenge at Whiti Cross WOD. At first I was really nervous to come to CrossFit as it seemed really intense. I quickly got over the nerves as everyone was so helpful and welcoming.

I am now running the 6 Week Challenges and can’t wait to help people get the amazing results that I got.

I am currently studying towards my certificate in Personal training. Eventually I hope to take some classes at Whiti Cross WOD.

Jennifer - admin superstar

My name is Jennifer Loumoli, and I’ve been part of the Whiti Cross community for over five years. My role focuses on supporting the gym from behind the scenes, ensuring the administrative and membership systems run smoothly. I work in the background managing membership support through Glofox, as well as handling accounts, admin tasks, and general operational support.
I began my journey at Whiti Cross as a member, and over time my connection with the gym grew into something more. I fell in love with the environment, the people, and the culture — and I never left. Whiti Cross is not just where I work; it’s a place that brings balance to my life and motivates me to stay healthy, focused, and connected.
